Kahn Research Group is a research firm devoted to uncovering human behavioral responses in all types of venues. Through the scientific capture and analyses of this behavior, we make actionable recommendations to our clients on how to improve the purchase decision process and increase customer satisfaction. Kahn Research Group is located just outside of Charlotte, NC.

Kahn Research Group’s philosophy is a simple one: We strive to provide our clients with actionable information and recommendations that guarantee a significant return on their research investment. Our focus, as our name implies, is on behavior – what motivates it, shapes it, influences it, and, most importantly, determines it.

Our research has shown time and time again that what people say they do and what they actually do are often two very different things. And only what they actually do, their behavior, matters in the end – all the focus groups in the world could evaluate your product as a “must have,” but if no one buys it, those evaluations alone cannot keep your business alive.

For this reason, Kahn Research Group focuses on all aspects that shape and define behavior, from the actual movement of a customer in a store towards a specific product over another, to the customer’s beliefs about the product that motivates the behavior, to the customer’s experience on the product’s website that gave rise to those beliefs. I

n the end, it is behavior, the act of purchasing, or not purchasing, or purchasing a competitor’s product, that will determine the success of your business.
